Ms Liew Siew Lian

Siew Lian has dedicated 23 years of service to Singapore's Ministry of Education, transitioning from her initial role as a teacher to become a school counsellor. She holds a Master of Counselling degree and is a certified Master Solution-Focused Practitioner, accredited by the International Alliance of Solution-Focused Teaching Institutes. Her commitment to student care earned her the National Day Efficiency Medal. With experience spanning primary, secondary and junior college levels, Siew Lian has gained valuable insights into students' developmental needs across different stages. She is passionate about using strength-based approaches in school counselling, emphasising students' resilience and capabilities. Central to her practice is the belief in fostering strong partnerships with educators and parents to establish comprehensive support systems for students.
