Mr James Tan

James Tan is the Chief Executive Officer of TOUCH Community Services, a multi-service non-profit organisation that serves people of all ages, races and religions to see sustainable change and transformation in their lives.
With more than three decades of transformative service, James has continually positioned TOUCH to be forward-thinking in addressing evolving needs in the community.  In recognition of good governance practices, TOUCH was awarded the Charity Governance Award 2023 and Charity Transparency Awards by the Charity Council. The organisation’s commitment to developing human capital also won it the Special Recognition Award (Social Service Sector) in the Kincentric Best Employers Award 2021. 
Beyond his current role at TOUCH, James believes in contributing back to the sector. He is currently serving on several interagency taskforces including the Agency for Integrated Care’s Community Care Manpower Committee and Beyond the Label Collective, a mental health anti-stigma national movement amongst other appointments.
