Dr James Cheong Siew Meng

Dr James Cheong is a Family Physician at C3 Family Clinic in Aljunied
Crescent and serves as a Clinical Sub-Lead in the Central North Primary
Care Network. He is a Fellow at the Ministry of Health’s Office for Healthcare
Transformation (MOHT), where he contributes beyond care to patients with
mental health concerns, by developing mental health care protocols for
Healthier SG and supporting broader national mental health efforts.
Dr. Cheong is a passionate advocate for medical education. He is a faculty
member of the College of Family Physicians Singapore (CFPS) Ethics Faculty,
MMed (Family Medicine) and Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (GDFM) programmes.
He is a clinical GP tutor to medical students from the Lee Kong Chian School
of Medicine and a certified Advance Care Planning (ACP) trainer. Dr Cheong’s
areas of interest include community medicine, care integration, complex
care, mental health, and healthcare ethics and law. He is currently pursuing
a master’s in healthcare ethics and law with the University of Manchester.
In April 2025, he was appointed Medical Advisor to the Medical Protection
Society.
