Dr Damien Lain

Dr. Damien Lai is a Consultant Psychiatrist at Singapore General Hospital's
Department of Psychiatry, with a special interest in geriatric psychiatry.
He previously served as Deputy Chief of the Department of Geriatric Psychiatry
at the Institute of Mental Health.
His research interests focus on mental health in older adults, with notable
publications on purpose in life among the elderly. He has led several quality
improvement initiatives in geriatric care, including the development of
frailty care models and delirium management protocols. His contributions
have been recognised with multiple awards.
Dr. Lai holds academic appointments as Adjunct Senior Lecturer at LKC
Medicine, Clinical Lecturer at NUS School of Medicine, and Adjunct Instructor
at Duke-NUS Medicine. He is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists
(UK) and received his medical degree from Monash University, Australia.
