Breakout Session: Track 1 – Digital Mental Health & Artificial Intelligence
Synopsis
The integration of technology into mental health services, including internet-based
cognitive behavioural therapy (iCBT), is transforming accessibility, efficiency,
and personalization. Digital platforms, such as telehealth, mental health
apps, and iCBT programs, remove geographical and social barriers, offering
individuals immediate and structured support from the comfort of their
homes. Advanced technologies like artificial intelligence improveefficiency,
while iCBT provides evidence-based interventions tailored to individual
needs. Together, these innovations redefine how we approach mental
health care with empathy and precision.
